WHY UKRAINIAN WOMEN SEEK HUSBANDS FROM
ABROAD

According to a United Nations Report in 1998, women in Ukraine
outnumbered men by 3.5 million.

Over 80% of Ukrainian women possess a university degree yet
women in Ukraine earn less than Ukrainian men and are more often
unemployed.  It is not uncommon for Ukrainian women to work
long hours 6 days per week, averaging $300 in monthly income.

Ukrainian women are very traditional in their family views, often
choosing to maintain their home and care for their children while
their husband delivers the family income.  They often speak of
wanting an older, stronger man who will lead the family, of course,
with total consideration of his wife's feelings and wishes.

According to the Institute of Law, Odessa University, over
400,000 Ukrainian women are kidnapped annually and forced
into illegal sex trades in Europe, Israel and the United States.
Most are lured by deceptive advertisements for legitimate work
abroad. Ukrainian women have told me many times they seek
a man who will protect and love them.

Ukrainian women typically marry between the ages of 19 - 25. The
divorce rate in Ukraine exceeds 70%. Ukrainian women tell me
their men are not interested in children and family responsibilities.

A girl from Kharkov once told me, when asked why it was difficult
for her to find a man in Ukraine, "I suppose there are just too many
beautiful women here.  Even the nice men find it hard to be
faithful."
Kiev, Ukraine is a beautiful old European city!
I have met or interviewed hundreds
of foreign women since I began in
the International Marriage
experience years ago.  99% of these
ladies, when asked, told me the
number one quality they valued in
their future life-partner - was
KINDNESS!

In the end, Ukrainian women may
love their families, friends and even
country - but finding a happy,
healthy, productive and
family-oriented guy will often require
them to look abroad for someone like
YOU!
