Our Mission Statement

We all know people, who met in high school, fell in love, got married and live happily ever after. Love seems to just land in some
peoples' laps while others search for years for that one marvelous person who brightens their every day and completes who they
are. Most of us could point out a friend or coworker who, despite having a lot to offer someone, can never find that precious life-
partner. The road to love, for many of us, is long, unpredictable and laden with obstacles. We live in a world full of people yet so
many of us are still, inexplicably alone. If you’re reading this you’re probably still somewhere on that journey. Perhaps, you've
navigated a few dating sites and read hundreds of profiles of foreign women from places you've never heard of. You’ve read a
lot about so-called Mail Order Brides, some of which was highly encouraging and exciting, some that was negative, - and some
that was downright scary. Still, you're tired of being alone and determined that this will be the year you find your HER. Whatever
the reason you're here, we’re glad you found us. Perhaps we can help you take the next step, and the next until you find yourself
face to face with someone your heart always told you was out there somewhere - someone you were unable to find until now.

Ask a few questions right now, quietly to yourself.   What if that lonely, frustrated but truly deserving friend or coworker mentioned
above with great character, old-fashioned values and a deep desire to fall in love, marry and start a family - was YOU? What if
that person mentioned above was a lovely, sincere lady from Russia, Ukraine, and Latin America or anywhere else on the
planet?   Now, the last question: If two such people exist, and of course they do in every single city and culture on Earth, why
shouldn't there be a way for them to find each other and have the love they so deeply desire? In these three questions you
have our purpose for being here, our mission, if you will.

Imagine finding real love - the kind you see in movies or read about in romance novels - with an exciting, attractive partner!
While marriage, monogamy and family are priorities for most foreign women, finding a similar life-partner is challenging at best
and just plain unlikely for some. If a way were available for theses women to meet an equally focused man, even one from
another country, the end result would be the realization of a dream.   You'll say, “Yea but what about all the scams I've read
about, and all the women who are just looking for a green card?” Sure, there are scams out there which target both men and
women in this process. Fortunately, they're fairly easy to recognize. We'll show you how to avoid scams throughout this site. As
for the green card - well, yes your foreign spouse is going to need one because without it she would not be able to work, travel
back home, drive a car, and open a bank account - all the things she could have easily done in her own country before
she met you. Despite what you may have read or heard around the office water cooler the vast majority of foreign women are
not here for citizenship - trust us, this will become abundantly clear in the first 20 minutes you meet them - but for the
rare opportunity to have a loving, dedicated, supportive, nurturing, romantic, monogamous, sober husband as well as a strong,
happy family. Most of what you think you know about these ladies is probably old and outdated.   Where foreign brides are
concerned, there’s enough misinformation to fill the Black Sea. If you're going to succeed in the search for a foreign bride
you're going to have to forget everything you think you know about these exciting, mysterious women - and learn the truth.

Here’s the problem: Men love fantasy. Dating agencies specializing in so called Mail-Order-Brides know this. So, lesson
number one is: there are NO Mail-Order-Brides! There ARE attractive, intelligent, self-respecting and strong women who join
reputable, established introduction services like A Foreign Affair every day in hopes of meeting that nice guy. The fact that
they are sometimes referred to as Mail-Order-Brides is offensive, grotesquely inaccurate and just plain wrong! Worse yet their
legitimate profiles are mingled in with younger, sexier ones from 19 and 20 year old swimsuit model wannabes looking for more
of a short term sugar daddy than a husband and family. Attractive, real, and very decent women are often over-shadowed by
profiles of very young girls wearing thongs and lingerie claiming to be interested in meeting men more than 30 years their age.
And hundreds of guys fall for it. An incredible amount of time, money and emotion is wasted every day by well-meaning guys
who are too lost in fantasy to find the highly rewarding, deeply gratifying reality that awaits them.   It is unforgivable that agencies
claim on one hand to be totally focused on saving their clients from potential scams and pitfalls of international dating while
simultaneously offering those profiles that are never verified or updated or worse; completely fabricated. Some international
marriage agencies are honest and reliable. Some are scams from day one. We're here to help you distinguish between the
two - and find HER!

I met my wonderful wife, Viktoria, in St. Petersburg, Russia in 2001, while working on an A Foreign Affair Romance Tour. I
had just done divorce and devastation and all the emotional Armageddon that comes with and was in no mood to meet anyone
– but had always wanted to see Russia. One of the great ironies of my work is that I met my Viktoria while leaving my first
Romance Tour social in order to get away from all the very nice ladies who were trying to introduce themselves to me. Strange
– but true! We dated for a year, got engaged in late 2002 and married in 2004. Along the way, we have helped hundreds of
others find each other. They were beautiful women struggling to find a marriage-minded, family-oriented guy in their own city. Or
they were nice guys frustrated by the trend toward independence from the opposite sex that impacts modern dating in western
culture. (Think "Sex In The City.") Victoria and I are committed to reach out to those yet unnoticed but hopeful men and women
and offer a reliable, predictable, integrity-driven service that accomplishes one simple goal: it will encourage good people
to find each other! Despite the scams that do exist on both sides of the foreign bride experience, despite the mass confusion
caused by the fantasy marketing of so many international dating agencies; there are literally tens of thousands of gorgeous, real
foreign ladies trying to find a good man to give their hearts to for all the right reasons. Realistic, serious men who are willing to
forego fantasy in exchange for a very happy reality will find plenty of candid advice, information and resources here, not the least
of which is my very helpful book “Foreign Bride 101: A How-To For Nice Guys!” Through the book, our live interviews with
foreign ladies, our partnerships with reputable resources and our personal consultation services, we'll always do our best to
save you money, time and emotion by only promoting REAL women and the responsible agencies that host them.   We're not
going to get rich; rather we're here to turn our passion for people into an endeavor that will sustain us - and your search for HER
