minutes you meet them - but for the rare opportunity to have a loving, dedicated, supportive, nurturing, romantic, monogamous, sober
husband as well as a strong, happy family. Most of what you think you know about these ladies is probably old and outdated. Where
foreign brides are concerned, there’s enough misinformation to fill the Black Sea. If you're going to succeed in the search for a foreign

Here’s the problem: Men love fantasy. Dating agencies specializing in so called Mail-Order-Brides know this. So, lesson number one
is: there are NO Mail-Order-Brides! There ARE attractive, intelligent, self-respecting and strong women who join reputable, established
introduction services like A Foreign Affair every day in hopes of meeting that nice guy. The fact that they are sometimes referred to as

I met my wonderful wife, Viktoria, in St. Petersburg, Russia in 2001, while working on an A Foreign Affair Romance Tour. I had just
done divorce and devastation and all the emotional Armageddon that comes with and was in no mood to meet anyone – but had always
wanted to see Russia. One of the great ironies of my work is that I met my Viktoria while leaving my first Romance Tour social in order to
get away from all the very nice ladies who were trying to introduce themselves to me. Strange – but true! We dated for a year, got
engaged in late 2002 and married in 2004. Along the way, we have helped hundreds of others find each other. They were beautiful

| My search for a foreign bride ended before it began. I met my Viktoria in St. Petersburg, Russia in 2001 while standing on a busy city sidewalk outside a club where several very assertive ladies had been trying all night to get acquainted with me. I stepped outside to catch my breath. I had not come to St. Petersburg for love, I had come for Mother Russia. When Viktoria passed by on her way in, our eyes met... And the rest is history. In the months that would follow that late November evening, we corresponded, got engaged and I traveled to be with her 3 more times before she would finally arrive in the United States. It's interesting, and perhaps fortunate that while navigating the Fiancée visa process for us I simultaneously helped and watched hundreds of others do so as well. I saw what worked and what didn't many times.
